National Security Minister Ben-Gvir: The security of the citizens of the State of Israel comes above all. A sovereign state is not a subcontractor for any superpower. It is not obligated to agreements that seal its ability to defend its people against existential threats.

We must not act under external pressure but rather from our own conscience. Just as a person is obligated to do what is necessary to protect their home, the State of Israel is obligated to do everything to protect its citizens.
