Tuesday: Applications Still Accepted For Jewish Ecommerce Sellers Exclusive Networking Dinner in Brooklyn

For the very first time in New York, an exclusive, high-end ecommerce learning and networking dinner event will be open to new applicants (four slots remain) The Etail Summit will be on Tuesday, July 23rd at Jewish Children’s Museum, 792 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn from 6 -10 pm. The event which is only open to elite eCommerce Operators, managers and C level executives, is expected to draw excess of 100 participants. The Jewish Etail summit is a project between Crown Heights Young Entrepreneur (CHYE) and Ecommerce Vendors Group.

For those unfamiliar with the term, e-tailers are companies with online stores who sell on their own websites rather than on Amazon or on other third-party platforms. Thanks to generous sponsors, the event is admission-free, and open to all who qualify. To apply to attend (at no cost) visit www.jewishetail.com

Avi Markovich, founder of Ecommerce Vendors Network, has hosted many events for an exclusive network of over 180 ecommerce sellers for the past ten years. Collectively, the members of his group have generated a couple billion dollars in revenue from their online stores. This year Avi partnered with CHYE to host an event for e-tailers on a larger scale that will hopefully attract more people who qualify — managers and C level executives — to join the exclusive Ecommerce Vendors Group.

“We see there is a growing interest in etail in the community and based on the previous success of Ecommerce Vendors Group’s events, we decided to bring more e-tail sellers who are at similar stages of their company’s development together to network and provide resources to the community,” said Rabbi Yehoshua Werde of CHYE.

The event will open with a lavish buffet, cocktails, and networking hour. This will be followed by a 45-minute Master-Mind breakaway round table discussion in which sellers will be seated at tables with their peers and mentors who each have businesses at similar stages and gross revenue.   Seating people with others at similar stages who have hit the same milestones will foster more productive and enjoyable conversation as each will be able to relate to the unique challenges the others face; and help each other solve those challenges. Facing similar challenges, attendees to this dinner can brainstorm to help solve the biggest problems each are facing in their eCommerce company. The fact is this: An idea or advice you can learn in five minutes, can save you hundreds of thousands of dollars and a year of mistakes.

Next, attendants will be treated to a lavish sit-down dinner followed by a live interview of Jay Gelman, CEO of Alliance Media Holdings Inc., conducted by Nesanel Gantz from Ami Magazine’s Lunch Break.

“There are many benefits to joining  these events and networking with your peers in this field,” explained Markovich. “Why reinvent the wheel and make the same mistakes when we can all learn from each other to become more successful?”

“I’ve been going [to Ecommerce Vendors Group] for a few years now and I walk away with one or two pieces of invaluable information every time,” said Glen Holman, CIO of Tilebar.com. He also plans to attend E-tail Summit. “With a finite amount of time and so many different events and responsibilities competing for your attention, [E-tail Summit] is an event that is truly worthwhile,” he continued. “It’s an opportunity to participate in a unique forum where you can meet like-minded people, build your network, ask questions, share opinions, listen, and grow.”
