A few minutes ago (9:00 pm) a frum person was mugged at gunpoint on Ave L and East 17th Street. B”H he is uninjured but the perpetrator made off with his wallet. The NYPD is searching the area now & are advising to please use caution when walking alone in the area.–YW Editor.
