Some Charedim cause a major chillul Hashem and don’t give a “hoot” about it!
Anyone who calls another yid a nazi should not be allowed on Har Meron.
Of course they are out of line.
But, are you not out of line for writing “Charedi Mob” on your site? As if everyone there was rioting…Go back to yeshiva, chevra…
while it is totally inappropriate and terrible to use such language. We have to remember that the Police department ; on the hottest day thus far in the year did very little to ease and lighten the complications of traffic in miron. It was a disastrous situation; perhaps they tried a new method or whatever but it was a total failure. This doesn’t make the innocent police man on duty guilty; he is following the order of those higher than him and using such language is a total shame.
I was there in Meron and I cannot tell you the shame and disgust I had seeing those religious men and women, nonetheless, acting with such disrespect and hutzpah. We were all in the heat, we were all tired but that does not give the right to scream, spit or ignore completely what those police officers and soldiers were asking. If anything, they don’t do it for themselves, they do it for our own safety. Wait until those bachurim are in army suits next year and we’ll see just how much they will be respected by the amount of people pushing you and nudging and throwing their cigarette ash at you….what a hillul Hashem from beginning to end
