An EMS responder in Israel heading to a call on Thursday night the eve of 16 Tammuz was involved in a serious motor vehicle accident. The responder, who was using lights and sirens, ran a red light and was struck by a vehicle traveling 100 KPH (60 MPH) on a green light. The small vehicle of the EMS responder was thrown to the other side of the road as the driver’s air bag inflated.
