Eida Gavaad Shlita Hospitalized in Yerushalayim (15:00 IL)

The Gavaad of the Eida Chareidis, HaGaon HaRav Yitzchak Tuvia Weiss Shlita is hospitalized in Jerusalem’s Shaare Zedek Medical Center. It appears the Gavaad was transported to the hospital on Sunday afternoon, 19 Shevat 5772, apparently for treatment of pneumonia.

The rav is receiving intravenous antibiotic therapy. He is admitted to the sixth floor, four floors below Maran Posek HaDor HaGaon HaRav Yosef Sholom Elyashiv Shlita.

The tzibur is requested to be mispallel for the gedolei Torah, Rav Yosef Sholom [Elyashiv] ben Chaya Musha, Rav Aaron Yehuda Leib [Shteinman] ben Gitel Feiga, Rav Yitzchak Tuvia [Weiss] ben Rikal and Rabbi Yaakov Chai [Yosef] ben Margalit for a refuah shleima b’soch kol cholei am yisrael.

  1. Its quite obvious what’s going on. Hashem is sending all yidden a message, no matter who you are affiliated with, whether you are a chosid, litvish, sefardi, we must all do teshuva and be united. Leaders of all sects are paying the price for our selfishness and divisiveness. May hkbh send them all a refuah sheleimah bekoroiv

  2. Why is going to a “Tzioni” hospital? How can he derive benefit from the Zionist state? How can he trust these “rotzchim”?

  3. What’s the point of an asifa? It’s not like we listen to the Gedolim anyways when we don’t like what they say. Maybe that’s the reason Hashem wants to take them all away from us.

  4. and harav yisroel belski was taken to hospital and is in serious condition following complications during emergency procedure, R Yisroel ben Chana Tzirtel.
    Hashem Yeracheim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. There still are some people who do listen to the Gedolims message. I keep the hope that many of these bloggers are lone voices. After all, bloggers aren’t exactly known to be from the most G-D fearing part of the religious sector! How I hope I’m correct!

  6. “crazykanoiy”, since when is Shaarei Tzedek a tziyoni hospital?! It’s a chareidi hospital, founded by the old yishuv (which is now known as the Eida Hachareidis) for the express purpose of removing the temptation many Jews felt to go to a hospital run by missionaries.
