Ramapo Police Investigating Multiple Vehicle Thefts In The Monsey Area

pdcThe Ramapo Police Department tells YWN that another three cars were stolen from the Monsey area of the Town. Earlier this week YWN reported that three vehicles had been stolen from the Wesley Hills and Pomona neighborhoods. As in the last incident, the three vehicles were also stolen from their respective driveways, and these occurred in the early morning hours of November 5th.

The description of the stolen vehicles are as follows:

• 2013 Ford Escape, Grey, bearing NY registration GHH-1622 and 2012 Honda Pilot, white, bearing NY registration FSW-6306 were both stolen from a driveway on Pine Road, Monsey.

• 2012 Jaguar XJL, black, bearing NY registration FSC-7574 stolen from a driveway on Meadowbrook Lane, Monsey.

All three cars had a key or electronic key fob in the car at the time they were stolen. At this time the cases are under investigation by department detectives. Connections to recent prior stolen cars from the Wesley Hills/Pomona area in the Town have not been ruled out at this time.

Residents of the Town are reminded to secure their vehicles and remove the key when leaving the vehicle for any length of time.

Anyone with information should contact the Ramapo PD Detectives at 357-2400.
