VIDEO: Rockland County: Ramapo Police Issue Warning About Coyote In Wesley Hills Area

The Ramapo Police have issued a warning to local residents about a coyote that has been spotted around the area.

The following is the alert:

Dear Residents,

The Ramapo Police are concerned about a coyote that has been spotted a few times in the Village in the past week. This coyote is not afraid of people and does not scamper off if approached. The Police consider this coyote to be dangerous and urge people who see the animal to contact them immediately. They may be reached via 911 or at 845-357-2400.

The coyote was seen on Cutler Court last week and has also been spotted in the Willow Tree Road and Grandview Road areas. It was last seen today in the Martha Road and South Parker vicinity.
