What Do Israeli Politicians Think About the Iran Deal?

bibFollowing the signing of an agreement between Iran and the P5+1 in Vienna, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was quick to express Israel’s objections to the agreement, which he insists makes the world a more dangerous place. Mr. Netanyahu set the tone for other elected officials, who are standing behind the unanimous Security Council decision to reject the agreement.

The prime minister called on Members of Knesset to “put petty political issues aside and to stand unified” on the issue of Iran and the dangerous agreement. Opposition leader Yitzchak Herzog stated “Regarding the agreement I am more extreme than Mr. Netanyahu. Despite the criticism regarding his handling of state affairs, I have spoken with him to explain we stand firmly behind him on this issue”. These words were echoed by MK Tzipi Livni, as well as MK Yair Lapid, who heads the Yesh Atid party.

The voice of Arab MKs on the other hand point out that Israel is a nuclear power and perhaps the time has come for the international community to address this.

Oh really? “Perhaps the time has come for the Israeli Government” to throw out the Arab Party’s from the Knesset. They openly support and cheer on the terrorists in Gaza and the “West bank”.
They were quick to throw out Rabbi Meir Kahana z”l but these terrorist sympathizers they keep. Go figure.
