Delegation Of Gedolei Yisroel Leave To Daven By The Grave Of The Chofetz Chaim In Radin


AjHPhcrghBy5rPwXe04uqEROpJOVsptsT3_DljGOURtC This evening, in a few hours, a unique delegation of Roshei Yeshivot, Gedolei Torah, and Rabbonim from all of the different groups and chatzeirot will make an emotional and rare journey in preparation for the Yamim Noraim by the grave of Maran the Chofetz Chaim in Radin.

The journey will be broadcast live to all parts of the world in order that mass prayers, as much as possible, will be recited together by the grave of the Chofetz Chaim. The broadcast will begin in Vollozhin, after the delegation will have travelled by night, and will visit the ancient Beit Medrsah hall and will then visit the graves the righteous and Greats of the past generations. The peak and highlight of this journey will take place at the grave of the Chofetz Chaim in Radin.

This journey which has been organized by “Dirshu” in order to strengthen the study of the daily Daf of Halachah according to the order in the Mishnah Berurah, takes place on the Yahrtzeit of Maran the Chofetz Chaim which is tomorrow.

The central prayer on the grave of the Chofetz Chaim will be broadcast live at 10:30 with the Rabbonim and Roshei Yeshivot participating in this unique trip who will daven the chapters of Tehillim together out loud and they will give lectures and Divrei Torah to elevate one’s level in Mussar and  Torah in preparation for the Yom HaDin, the Day of Judgment, that is quickly approaching.

In preparation for this rare, awesome and inspiring event the grave has been renovated and a large wooden tent has been erected over the grave of the Chofetz Chaim. There is much excitement and electricity felt in the air leading up to this historical journey with great Roshei Yeshivot being quoted extensively about the upcoming trip.

The Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Yaakov Borenstein, shlita, Rosh Yeshivat Kiryat Melech said, “The prayers on the grave of the Chofetz Chaim on his Yahrtzeit are very arousing. He has great merit for Klal Yisroel and for each and every individual, since he gave up his life towards the learning of Halachah, definitely that those who join and participate in the structured study of Halachah are fit to benefit from his merit. It is impossible to estimate the importance of this merit for the Yom HaDin.”

The Gaon Rabbi Sariel Rosenberg, shlta, Rav Of the Ramat David neighborhood, Bnei Brak, and head of the Beit Din Tzedek, Bnei Brak, and a lecturer on the Daily Daf in Halachah said, ” We are going to implore in prayer on the grave of the Chofetz Chaim who merited to be the Posek of all of Klal Yisroel as we see that the Mishnah Berurah is learned by all, everywhere. We are not going to ask only for the merit of those who learned in the past but also in the merit of the thousands that accepted upon themselves the study of a “Daf a day” of Halachah each and every day.”

The Gaon Rabbi Shmuel Eliezer Stern, shlita, Head of Shaarei Hora’ah and member of the Beit Din of Maran Rabbi Shmuel Vozner, zatz”al, author of “Shvivei Eish” said, “The heart moans from overwhelming emotion towards the upcoming journey to Radin. In order to pour out supplications for Klal Yisroel that is in such a position of danger and distress. In the merit of those holy elevated Greats, such as the Chofetz Chaim, Hashem will remember His love and sustain their children in order that the remnants of Yaakov should not be lost and that we should merit to being inscribed and signed for a year of redemption and speedy salvation’
