Tefilla Rally at the Kosel at the End of Shovavim TaT

koselA tefilla rally is scheduled at the Kosel on this Thursday, 9 Adar I, the last Thursday of ‘Shovavim TaT’ to cry to HKBH over the government’s granting an egalitarian prayer area to non-religious Jews near the Kosel.

Highlighting ongoing machlokes within Am Yisrael, so far the adverts for the rally have only been aired on Kol Berama Radio, which is affiliated with former MK Eli Yishai and HaGaon HaRav Meir Mazuz Shlita, Rosh Yeshivas Kisei Rachamim. It was Rav Mazuz who called for the tefilla rally.

Therefore, the event has yet to be aired on Kol Chai Radio, which now enjoys the support of Shas and Rishon L’Tzion Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef Shlita. In fact, Kol Berama, which aired Maran HaGaon HaRav Ovadia Yosef’s ZT”L weekly motzei Shabbos shiur as well as that of Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef when he succeeded his father, is now prohibited from doing so. Rabbi Yitzchak Yosef told Kol Berama it has no reshus to do so any longer. The rights to the shiur were given to Kol Chai exclusively since Kol Berama is now affiliated with Yishai and Rabbi Mazuz, becoming treif in the eyes of Shas and the Rishon L’Tzion.

So as the Reform and Conservative Movements continue lauding their recent victory the frum camp continues in-fighting without an end in sight.
