Emergency personnel were called to the of a shooting incident which occurred in the Petach Tikvah shuk on Baron Hirsh Street on Thursday afternoon. It was reported that at least five victims wounded – none serious.

At least two were hit by gunfire in their lower extremities.

United Hatzalah EMTs and paramedics treated a male stabbing victim on Berkowitz Street, as well as a woman who was shot in her lower body on Baron Hirsch Street.

Seemingly the perpetrator escaped to the nearby Hovei Tzion street before injuring other people there. So far EMS personnel have treated four people.

The shooter is reportedly in custody.

Police are confirming that the incident was a terror attack
