The Knesset has succeeded in blocking two bills presented by MK (Ra�am � Ta�al) Dr. Ahmed Tibi, bills intended to advance ongoing PA (Palestinian Authority) efforts towards the destruction of the Jewish State.

The Knesset on Monday, voted against the Arab MK�s bills, one recognizing al-Quds, Jerusalem, as the capital of Palestine and Islam. The second bill would compel revamping text books to remove any hint of a derogatory statement regarding Arabs and attacks prior to the establishment of the State of Israel in 1948.

Knesset Speaker Reuven Rivlin referred to the bills as �crossing a red line�.

Interestingly, while Tibi continues to receive a monthly salary as a MK, enjoying the privileges of parliamentary immunity and using the Knesset plenum to advance his pro-PA agenda. Tibi, who was a personal advisor to arch terrorist Yasser Arafat is permitted to continue on his destructive path while the late Rabbi Meir Kahane HY�D was banned by Israel�s Supreme Court, as was his Kach Party.

When appearing before the High Court, the rav�s son, Rabbi Binyamin Ze�ev Kahane HY�D was asked to present the court with the party platform. The young rav placed a Tanach on the table and informed the court �this is it�. The court rejected it and ordered Kach classified as an illegal organization, a terrorist organization.
