A New York City school bus driver has been suspended following an incident in which he allegedly stopped the bus to deliver an antisemitic rant to the children on board, leaving at least one Jewish student in tears.
According to reports, the driver pulled over during the morning route and made offensive remarks, including blaming Jewish people for the death of Yeshu and asserting that only belief in Yeshu can “deliver” rather than religion. He also instructed the children to recite a prayer.
The incident was reportedly recorded by passengers and has sparked outrage among parents and community members.
The bus driver, who is employed by Jofaz Transportation, a company contracted by the New York City Department of Education (DOE), has been barred from transporting students pending an investigation by the bus company. The driver was operating a route for Brooklyn Prospect International Elementary School, a privately run but publicly funded charter school, when the incident prompting the investigation occurred.
DOE officials confirmed that Jofaz Transportation holds a contract with the city to provide transportation services for students. However, the driver in question will not be permitted to transport New York City students until the investigation is complete, according to department officials. Further

I’m only surprised this and worse hasn’t yet happened, and more often. Take a look at who is driving around many of our kids to school. Immigrants from places like Haiti, Jamaica, etc.
Don’t get me wrong, most of these people are decent and just want to make a living. But these aren’t the most stable places, and some of these people may not be the most stable either.
Is there a halachic difference between writing Yeshu and Cheesus?
I have it on good authority that when there was a cheese shortage in the 1800’s, all the “frum” websites had no issue with calling it the “Cheese Crisis”!
Uncle Ben,
A far better way to refer to the wayward Jew, would be “The Late JC.”
Had he used the word Ni…., he would have been fired already.
It didn’t sound like he was driving kids who are going to a Jewish school, so to that I say to the parents, if you see it bothers your kid and it bothers you, why hide it? Just go to a Jewish school!
Jersey Jew; The C stands for christ which is the literal translation of Moshiach, annointing or christening.
So it would be like referring to him as moshiach ch”v.
it is mutar to say jesus which is just his personal name (yeshu in aramaic) but not the 2nd part which indicates hes moshiach as uncle ben said. it might be best to derogatory nickname to make fun of avoda zara such as yoshka pondrick
