Syrian media reports that Syrian security forces thwarted an attempt to smuggle 1,250 landmines to Hezbollah.

According to the reports, four local individuals involved in the smuggling attempt across the Syria–Lebanon border were arrested, and one additional suspect was neutralized during clashes with Syrian security forces.
