Prime Minister Netanyahu warned the Security Cabinet that Israel may ultimately have to confront Iran on its own, without U.S. backing.
During last night’s cabinet meeting, Netanyahu reportedly said Israel could find itself facing Iran “without support from the United States, with all the costs involved, including munitions shortages and international isolation,” adding: “We don’t want to get there, but we know we can get there.”
IDF Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Eyal Zamir also reportedly warned about the emerging agreement, saying: “As we see it right now, almost any agreement is a bad agreement.”
