Jerusalem Police Chief Edri: The Terrorist Should be Killed


unnamed (5)Speaking to the press from the scene of the Shar Shechem terror attack on Sunday, 4 Tammuz, Jerusalem Police Chief Moshe Edri said the terrorist should be killed. Also present at the press conference was Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat.

Edri praised the “quick and professional response” by the gravely wounded policeman, who soon thereafter went into traumatic cardiac arrest. He was transported to the trauma unit of Shaare Zedek Medical Center.

Edri stressed police are ready for any scenario, and a large force is in the field to ensure the safety of residents.

Mayor Nir Barkat praised the actions of the wounded officer too, citing his actions prevented the terrorist from striking again.

Dr. Ofir Marin, who heads the Shaare Zedek Medical Center trauma unit, reported the border policeman arrived in grace condition with multiple stab wounds; to his neck, chest and his heart.
