    Dear Moshiach agent

What you wrote is a gross misrepresentation of the truth. It was precisely the Torah true chareidim who went out to fight the Greeks. Look at al hanisim,at all the midrashim of Chanukah, and al the meforshim.

And don’t mix the Greeks with the Romans. Two totally different issues.

My wife’s great aunt used to drive R Abramsky to give his shiur in bayit vegan. They were not related.

He sat in the back, but it was hard for him so he sat in the front.he said ” der Rov meg dos tohn”

Someone from the shiur stopped coming,as he felt it wasn’t “passt”.the Rov’s reaction was – his loss.

Could be its different when the combined ages of the people involved totals over 150.

Rav Sheinberg asked someone who was going to the US,to bring him back a certain brand of soap.

he didn’t manage to get it ,so he brought him back a different brand.

R Sheinberg said-this is not what i asked you for.

The talmid couldn’t understand why R Sheinberg cared about the soap, until he explained that the brand of soap that he asked for,had a lather that washed off very quickly,so he wasted less time in the shower.

So there’s this chassidisher shadchan on the phone to an older girl we know, pushing her and pushing her to go out with a chassidisher boy.The usual stuff, your’e getting older, what does it matter so much if he’s chassidish, you’ll be happy, being litvish is not that important,as long as he is a good guy…

After an hour, she got the inspiration

“Mrs xxxxxx, would you let your daughter go out with a litvak?”

    “CHAAAS VESHOLOM!!!!!!!!!!”

So I see my wife coming out of her sister’s building in kiryat Sanz, and she waves enthusiastically at me,so I wave cheerfully back. When I got closer,I saw it wasn’t my wife. The young lady was waving to someone behind me.I put my head down and walked past her.

15 years ago, when there was a protest against the bias of the israeli judiciary, there were about half a million.

Given the broad support among Rabbonim for today’s event, and the growth of the frum population,a million is not far-fetched.

The only point that really matters is how many people will be mekadesh shem shomayim,by davvening and saying shema yisroel together-and may we say chacham harozim.A million is immaterial.

Guy asks his friend to go to the tish with him.

    “what for-I’m a litvak!”

“the Rebbe will give you a brocho”

    OK

They line up for the Rebbe. The Rebbe puts a piece of kugel into the hand of the litvak who recoils and drops the kugel.

The Rebbe says “you will never be a chosid!’

Litvak says to friend “Iv’e got my brocho,we can go!”

Perhaps yom hoatsmaut should be the day that we celebrate that despite 65 years of a zionist state,we are still able to keep Torah

The Chazon Ish thought that we would have to keep yiddishkeit in the cellars like they did in Russia (and anyone who thinks that he was naiive seriously needs their head examining).

One of the early zionists admitted privately to a colleage who later became a baal teshuva that were it not for world opinion they would have made concentration camps for the frum yidden. How they must be turning in their graves now, with so much Torah here!
