Syag, I applaud you but not everyone is able to do that as the president is looked at as a model of behavior. Clinton’s behavior was private which was publicized whereas your president flaunts his bad behavior.

health, Ahavas Chased Michah (6,8) which unites, but not Trump, is the most important. Rashi says on Mishom Hefitzom in Parashas Noach that the Dor Haflaga even worshipping a’z were not killed because there was unity among them. We abhor toava behavior but advocate caring for each other.

The Alshich Hakadash has a very interesting interpretation. If Lavan would not have fooled Yaakov then he would have married Rachel first and Yoseph would have been the first born deserving the kesonas pasim and no jelousy would have occured, so they would have never ended up in mitzraim,
so Lavan’s actions contributed to go down to mitzraim.
The Chasan Sofer interprets it that the yetzer hara wants to destroy the feeling that Hashem is our merciful father. Could be that by being redeemed, even though not worthy of it, taught the Bnei Yisroel that Hashem cares for them like a father.

Look at the Taz O’CH 47 for making the bracha laasok bedivrei Torah making learning a business of give and take, to deepen oneself into it. The Chasam Sofer in Nedorim there explains that they considered learning Torah as a hechsher mitzva, to know what to do, so they held that it needs no bracha before learning. As a melitza the Chasam Sofer interprets the statement that they praised one for his secular knowledge first over his Torah knowledge.

It says in SA O’CH (8,7) to separate the tzitzis. Therefore, shabbos might be a finishing touch or makeh bepatish, mesaken rabbinically. The Yabia Omer (5,3) says, as besalel above, that it only applies the first time as if done once, it is complete. According to this, certainly playing around would not be assur.
If an entangled, maybe do it with a shinuy by shaking it.

It is a safek when night is so erev shabbos we are machmir like the Yereim to stop work 18 ninutes before the first shkia and motzei shabbos doing work by the second shkia when it is completely dark. Since davening is rabbinical, we daven maariv 12 minutes before. The Baal Hatanyeh changed his view.
In the SA he paskens like the Rabbenu Taam whereas in his Siddur like the geonim where there is only one shkiah and 13 1/2 minutes is ben hashmoshos. Those who go by the Rabbenu Taam can daven Mincha until 58 1/2 minutes before his shkiah and then Maariv.

health, government is there to provide help as a springboard to ones losing their jobs because of health or economic conditions as charity is a temporary help. Neither of them encourages to stop looking for work as mentioned above. Sometimes people need retraining as their jobs were lost forever. I took unemployment benefits but never welfare.

Tosfas on 13,1 questions the accuracy of PI the ratiio between the circumderence and the diameter of a circle.
The Rambam on the mishnah 13,2 which uses the integral value of 3 based on the yam shel shlomo whose diameter was ten amos and ciircumference 30 says that since the value is not known exactly, so any value would not be correct, therefore 3 is taken as a rounded integral value. We use 22/7 or 3 1/7 to approximate it as the Ralbag there in Melachim 7,23. The GRA uses the pasuk to approximate its value by using the written וקוה and the read וקו taking the value of the written excluding the connective vov which is 111 and multuplying by the integral value of 3 for an adjustment which is 333 and dividing by the read value 106, 333/106 = 3.141509 which is correct to 3 decimal places as the value is 3.1415926. Maybe, we can improve on this value by using the conective vov and adjusting the value a little. 117 x 3 = 351 add to tbis the number of letters in the word 4 making it 355 and add a kolel of 1 to the denominator of 112 so we get 355/113 which is 3.1415929 known by the chinese a long time ago as a good approximation correct to 4 decimal places of 3.1416. The denominator has no letters added as they are not all the letters written and numerator has no kolel as it is not read.

Why is ki yikorei written with an aleph rather than a heh, similarly in Parashas Vaychi asher yikro eschem beacharis hayomim? The question of the Chavas Yair 67 is, if he does not want the children, can he walk away?
There are three reasons for this mitzva: 1, to show mercy, 2, to protect the species (Chinuch), and 3, the Zohar, to symbolize the mother looking for its children (calling it achzoriyos above) which symbolizes the redemptiion. Axxording to the first two eeasons we should be able to walk a1ay but not the third. Sending away the mother and leaving the children is no mercy. Also the species are protected. To show hope for the redemptiion would still apply.
The means of bringing Meshiach requires speech. The Midrash says that emunah (krias shma), hishtachvoyo, tefila and learning misnayos will bring the redemption. This might be the implicatiion here of how to bring Meshiach.

The Rashba’s view iis that as we don’t make a bracha directly on krias shma, so we can say it by the zman and the brochos at davenen but the Rabbenu Aharon Halevi and the GRA say they are related and therefore krias shma must be said togerher with the brochos.

The zman of krias shma is an argument between the Magen Avraham and the GRA. First there is an argument in the length of the day. The Magen Avraham’s view is that the day starts from alos hashachar, dawn and ends at tzetz hakochovim, the coming out of the middle size stars. The GRA holds that the day starts at sunrise and ends at sunset. There is 72 min between dawn and sunrise. Also 72 min between sunset and tzetz hakochivim making the day according the Magen Avraham 12 hrs + 2 x 72 min or 12 hrs + 2 hrs + 24 min = 14 hrs and 24 min = 14.4 hrs. Divide 14.4 by 12 to find the shaos zmaniyos = 14.4/12 = 1.2. Zman of krias shma is 3 hours from alos hashachar 6 AM normal sunrise – 72 min = 6 – 1.2 = 4.8 + 3 x 1.2 = 4.8 + 3.6 = 8.4 which would be 8 + 2 x 12 min = 8 hr 24 min AM whereas according to the GRA is 6 AM + 3 hr 9 AM a difference of .6 or 36 min
