Speaking to someone who was personally well acquainted with the bochurim in Mir yeshiva and Brisk in pre-war Europe, the “mainstream” of today is avery far cry from the standards of that time. The yeshiva bochurim of that era that played such a major role in keeping the torch of torah alive would by today’s “mainstream” be considered left wing modern orthodox and definitely not “mainstream”.

Make sure it’s Glatt Kosher, Cholov Yisroel, Yoshon, Gebaken noch Pesach, with Badatz and OU hechsherim. Anything less would be unacceptable for such a holy purpose!

    R U kidding?
You must be buying some cheap off brand LEDs!
I’ve been using them for years now and never had one burn out. Some of my LEDs burn many hours a day and they keep on going and going. Writing this by the light of those LEDs.

Saliva contains many compounds that are antibacterial or promote healing
So kissing a boo-boo actually does help in the healing process

    A little common sense please!
As Lakewood gets built up, LESS water is absorbed by the ground as much more runs off into the sewer system. When the land is covered with buildings and cement, the water can’t be absorbed.
The reason for the higher water table is rain! The American eastern seaboard has had an inordinate amount of rain for the past year. NYC water reservoir system is loaded. Normally at the end of the summer it’s considerably below full. This year at the end of the summer it was almost full. Farmers had trouble harvesting crops as they needed a few days of dry weather to harvest.Pay attention to what’s going on around you. Rain, rain, and more rain, al of which contributes to a high watertable.

Regardless of which filter you use, if something goes wrong on the computer remember to tell the techie you call that you have a filter installed.

The number of times that techies who are called with problems are stumped because they weren’t told there was a filter installed.

Filters do cause many problems. So always tell the tech when you have a filter.
