    BY, you are unfortunately right that killing Sinwar is rather a symbol than a real release for us.

    But same goes with all terrorists. Even if we kill 10 of them then another 50 will come and if we kill 10.000 of them they will bring in terrorists from other arab countries to support Gaza. We see so many of them demonstrating all around the world.

    Bottom line is that we can only loose….

    I wish I could agree to all you write…
    I lived in Israel for a few years and moved back to Germany again cuz life in Israel is simply too difficult.

    There is more social security in Germany….jobs are more secure here, food and housing is less expensive, etc.

    Jews are being killed in Israel as well only for being Jewish.

    I know, I should do tshuva and keep shabbat… but I do not have the strength (and environment?) to do it.

    I feel bad about it but don’t change it….and I hope that hashem will forgive me for that…

    I read about the prediction of chofetz chaim in an article on brakingisraelnews.
    Just google prediction and chofetz chaim and you will find infos about it.

    by the way:
    ww1 started in 1914
    ww2 started in 1939
    so 25yrs

    I agree, there have been many predictions about Moshiach and they have not become true.

    But, the closer we get to the year 6000 the more likely Moshiach will come.
    When we see what is going on in the world then there are many signs that we are I a pre-messianic era

    oh…and another question….is there any connection to Chafetz Chaim and the Zohar (Midrash Ne’elam – Toldot 140a) which says that Moshiach will come 210 years before the Year 6000

    => Chafetz Chaim – 5780
    => Zohar – 5790
