Dinover Rebbe Spends Shabbos in Baltimore


The Dinover Rebbe, HoRav Yitzchok Yaakov Rabinovitch shlit’a, spent last Shabbos Parshas Mishpotim in the city of Baltimore. The Rebbe travelled there with over fifty chassidim and talmidim from the NY area on behalf of his mosdos and to be mechazek the local Jewish community. Friday night he davened at the recently completed shul of R’ Weiss and feered tish in the Beis Midrash HaGadol of Khal Arugas HaBosem, the shul founded by HoRav Amram Taub zy’a and lead by his son HoRav Shaya. Shacharis was held at Khal Machzikei Torah (Sterhell’s shul), and Mincha and Shalosh Seudos were again held at Khal Arugas HaBosem. The Rebbe met with many members of the community and spoke a number of times. An estimated 150-200 people attended the tishen. The Rebbe is known as one who follows in the footsteps of his grandfathers, the holy Rebbes of Dinov and Munkatch, which includes the Bnei Yissoschor, the Darkei Teshuva, and the Minchas Elozer zy’a. His Beis Midrash in the Kensington area of Brooklyn is a lighthouse of Torah and Chassidus in the area. The visit will continue to inspire those who attended for a long time.
