Rabbi Benny Eisner z”l, a prominent rav in Merkaz HaRav, a pioneer in leading the resettlement of the Jewish community in the eastern capital, and the founder of the dati leumi Noam movement, was niftar on Shabbos in hospital following a systemic collapse of his vital organs a number of days earlier.

The levaya was held on motzei Shabbos, beginning at the Morasha Talmud Torah and kvura was on Har HaZeisim.
