YWN regrets to inform you of an update to yesterdays serious MVA on Route 17, in Upstate NY, reported in YWN Catskill News.
82-year-old Esther Moskowitz A”H, was Niftar earlier today from injuries sustained in the accident.
The vehicle driven by her husband, R’ Yankel Moskowitz, was struck by another vehicle, causing their car to overturn into a ditch on the side of the highway. Both she and her husband needed to be extricated from the vehicle. She was flown to Westchester Trauma Center, but was Niftar on Tuesday morning.
Her husband was transported to a NYC Hospital by ground, and listed in stable condition.
Two occupants from the other vehicle sustained minor injuries.
The Levaya is scheduled for 6:30PM on Tuesday evening in Monsey at the Vishnitz Shul on Phyllis Terrace.
