BOMBSHELL REPORT: Sworn Testimony Says Anti-Semite Rep. Ilhan Omar Is Foreign Agent For Qatar, Passing Info To Iran

Dem. Rep. Ilhan Omar (MN) was accused of being recruited and paid to be a foreign agent for Qatar in sworn testimony in a Florida court, the English edition of Al Arabiya reported on Monday. As part of her role, she conveyed sensitive information which was subsequently passed to Iran.

Al Arabiya reported that it gained access to a sworn deposition by Kuwait-born Canadian businessman Alan Bender as he was testifying via video link from Toronto to Florida in the case against Sheikh Khalid bin Hamad al-Thani.

Al-Thani, part of the Qatari royal family – the Qatari Emir’s brother – has been charged with allegedly soliciting his American security guard to murder two people and hold another American captive. The authenticity of Bender’s deposition was confirmed by the plantiffs’ attorney, Al Arabiya added.

Bender, who said that that he has close ties with top figures across the Middle East, including Qatar, said that he met with three senior Qatar officials, including Qatar’s Secretary to the Emir for Security Affairs.

The three officials told him that Omar was the “jewel in the crown” of Qatari assets and that Qatar had recruited her even before she ever thought about running for office, grooming her and laying the ground for her to get into politics, including financing her campaign. Once elected as the U.S. Representative for Minnesota, Omar passed sensitive information to Qatar which was subsequently passed to Iran. Furthermore, Omar is active in recruiting other American politicians to work for Qatar, Bender’s deposition said.

“If it wasn’t for our cash, Ilhan Omar would be just another black Somali refugee in America collecting welfare and serving tables on weekends,” the three officials told Bender.

Bender also told the Florida court that when Omar met with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan in 2017, she swore allegiance to him. Erdogan is a supporter of the Muslim Brotherhood, as is Qatar.

  1. I have the following problems with this report:

    1. Bender’s testimony is hearsay, i.e., he testified that 3 Qataris told him that Omar is a spy. Bender does not have his own evidence.

    2. This report truly is a bombshell, if true. Why has only one news outlet – a Qatari news source – reported this. Why were no US news media – right-wing, left-wing, no-wing – covering this?

Let me emphasize: I ain’t sayin’ this bombshell report is not true, but I am saying the source is weak.

  2. Oh No !!!
I don’t believe this to be honest reporting.
Ilhan Omar an Anti American SPY? Who would of guess she wanted to destroy America? ITS NOT LIKE She requested clemency for ISIS fighters?
Oh, who can be the next SPY ? AOC? Rashid Talib? And what are you going to tell me next that Barak Hussain Obama and Nancy Polocy are trying to over throw a dully elected President?
We need to know who financially backed and groomed her and throw bring them to justice and REVOKE HER CITIZENSHIP.

  3. How come there was no action taken against her for stealing money from her campaign and for coming into the United States illegally claiming she was married when she married her brother Lied on the application?

  4. Nothing will happen to her, she is protected by Democrat party and senile Nancy Pelosi. NYT, WAPO, CNN, MSNBC and the rest of Fake News Media will be on her side.

  5. I only saw one reputable news source reprint this, and it had a disclaimer printed before the article. YWN shouldn’t threaten their integrity by leaving it out. Al arabiya is an anti Qatar new source, and the claims are coming from someone who’s made all kinds of claims before. Do I doubt that she’s an anti American anti semetic vile person? Of course not. But YWN has been pretty spot on in terms of being a valid news source. Don’t ruin it.

  6. Here it is in full: Editor’s note: Though this story has been picked up by several foreign and domestic outlets, its sourcing is questionable. Al Arabiya, who first reported it, is a Saudi-backed news outlet intent on countering Qatari-backed news outlet Al Jazeera. Moreover, the source of the testimony referenced in the story, Kuwaiti-born Canadian citizen Alan Bender, has made other explosive accusations in the past that have not been corroborated (though nothing has been disproven, either) […] be aware of the potential for this to be “fake news” as part of a counter-propaganda effort against Qatar by the Saudis.

  7. From the Clarion Project. YWN please mitigate the title for your own sake.

David Steinberg, an editor and investigator with PJ Media who conducted a year-long investigation into Ilhan Omar, had this to say:

    Folks:

Many of you have contacted me about the @IlhanMN/Qatar connection alleged in a Florida court proceeding.

No source of mine has ever mentioned anything about this. I have seen nothing verifiable. I could not be more skeptical of the story’s veracity.

Jordan Schachtel, a well-known conservative journalist said:

Even Hadiths, which are the source of many controversial second hand sayings that have given rise to problematic theological material do a better job of verifying and vetting sources than this. Yet, news of Ilhan Omar being a Qatari asset is spreading like wildfire and it’s deeply unethical for any journalistic outlet that is feeding the frenzy knowing full well the claim is unsubstantiated.

In working to source and verify this story today, I’m proud to see colleagues in the counter-Islamist circuit — all critical of Ilhan Omar for well-documented reasons — unanimously shut down attempts to fan this story.”

Bad faith actors continue to spread false information about Ilhan Omar being run by Qatar. It is 100% nonsense. Both she and Qatar have committed many misdeeds. The Qatar-Omar thing is dumb and it hurts real investigative reporting on the two entities. https://t.co/W1VdC9LLbS

  8. To ramchas: In answer to your first question: Hearsay stopped Democrat me, and hearsay stopped the House impeachment committee from considering the whistleblower. The House committee instead directly looked to the sayers that the whistleblower heard, and they were all credible.

  9. To those who dismiss this claim, I ask why would this claim be any more incredible than the case of Nick Zhao (Australia) who was recently shown on “60 minutes” as a China connected version of the this story here that is Qatar connected.

  10. garlic :
Interesting that no Major News Outlet has picked up on this story….
    May not be true…

Something not being true never stopped a “Major News Outlet”.
Now a story being anti Democrat, that’s a totally different matter…

  11. Quayboardwarrior:

    Take your meds.

Precisely what damage has Trump done to this country? Even the alleged crimes that Schiff has convicted him for, which are not supported by evidence, have not caused damage. The lying Schiff might claim so, but that’s additional baloney. You don’t like Trump. I understand. You disagree with his positions. I get that, too. But he has restored so much that was destroyed by Obama and his ilk. Our economy has skyrocketed. Our foreign policy has advanced more in nearly 3 years than previous presidents could accomplish in 8 years.

You spew your venom like all others that suffer from Anti-Trump Derangement Syndrome. Feel any way you like. But stop denying cold, hard fact.

Your Omar lady has openly supported terror. I don’t know if this story is true, but it sure is believable. It is consistent with the other things she has done and spoken.

  12. Huju,

“Cooper told investigators that soon after that meeting of national security officials at the White House, she was visited by Kurt Volker, the U.S. special envoy to Ukraine, who explained there was a “statement” that the Ukraine government could make to get the security money flowing.

It was the first she had heard of the quid pro quo that is now the central question of the impeachment inquiry — the administration’s push for the Ukraine government to investigate Trump’s political rivals.“

    This is called hearsay

  13. President Bone Spurs:

Silver spoon. Terrible student. Draft dodger.

    Inherits family wealth.

Failed airline. Failed casinos. Failed marriages.

Cheats NY State out of millions in taxes owed (that we know of).

Hundreds of law suits filed against him over decades.

    Six bankruptcies.

Becomes reality TV host. Runs for President. Loses popular vote.

    Becomes president anyway.

Achieves about 5% of his campaign promises. With Republican control of all 3 branches of government.

Further enriches his family by cutting taxes for the ultra wealthy. Ballooning the national debt (he promised he’d reduce…)

Fails to maintain a stable administration. Appoints friends and family as people actually qualified can’t work with him.

23+ sexual assault accusations over several decades. Many are rape accusations, several by children.

Desperately trying to use racism to expand his power

Yes anybody that criticises him is deranged. Regardless of their exemplary reputation.

If it wasn’t for his father’s wealth he’d be a car salesman.

We’re not deranged, he just of no substance. And unfortunately it’s taking some people far too long to realise this.

  14. Quayboardwarrior

What a long list of rubbish. I was right the first time. Take your meds.

    Examples:

“Achieves about 5% of his campaign promises. With Republican control of all 3 branches of government.” Quite untrue. All he could not do was get the wall. Dems refused to participate in working on immigration reform. Shut CNN, NYT, and similar trash sites. Then find factual news.

“Further enriches his family by cutting taxes for the ultra wealthy. Ballooning the national debt (he promised he’d reduce…)” The increase in debt was by spending, and much of that went to handouts by Dems to their districts. The debt has begun to go lower due to a booming economy.

“Fails to maintain a stable administration. Appoints friends and family as people actually qualified can’t work with him.” Half true. Every president did that, and all have turnover. Trump happens to be a difficult boss, and this costs many their jobs. Obama was an easier boss, and maintained some of his grossly incompetent staff for longer.

“Desperately trying to use racism to expand his power” You libs persist in running the racism narrative. Its patently false, and you either know that, or are too dumb to recognize anything. I have pity on you pathetic souls that still push this word because it riles up the ignorant students on campus. Who lowered unemployment for the minority communities?

“Yes anybody that criticizes him is deranged. Regardless of their exemplary reputation.” Most of the critics are know nothings, and doing nothing beyond repeating the same lies over and over again, in the hopes that the belief will be accepted as fact. There is room for legitimate criticism. But the heaps of lies are not tolerable to anyone with moral fiber. And just how many of the critics have stellar reputations? Maybe we should volley comments on that.

  15. I thought this story would be my last dance with YWN, but I decided against it. I really enjoy YWN and like to get my news here. Then I saw the new mobile ads on top and bottom of my screen. Too many on one screen, too large and too intrusive. If I can’t read the news articles, then why would I come?

  16. I cant believe ppl are such idiots. All you guys who are taking this story and running with it, i’ve got news for you, Hitler ym”sh was just seen in iran talking to hillary clinton.
I mean seriously, you ppl gotta be nuts to buy this without ANY RELIABLE NEWS SOURCE backing it. Stop making a fool out of yourselves. Actually forget yourself, please dont make fools out of our community.
Wait for someone with at least a little credibility to assert the facts before you run around with your emperors clothes.

  17. @The Little I Know

The economy hasn’t skyrocketed. But a strong economy continued to grow at a similar pace to the Obama era (approx 2% a year).
    https://tradingeconomics.com/united-states/gdp-growth-annual

To contrast that, it was during Obama’s years that the economy went from recession to this “skyrocket”ing 2% growth a year.

Besides, GDP is flawed, it’s heavily skewed and doesn’t reflect the wealth inequality in the US. For example, the to 10% own 81% of the stock market. So whilst the richer may be doing better than ever, iIf anything, the poorer communities are worse off now. There@s certainly more uninsured which is a fairly strong indicator to how the poor fair.

    https://journals.lww.com/ajnonline/Fulltext/2019/04000/The_Number_of_Uninsured_Americans_Is_on_the_Rise.10.aspx

As for foreign policy, discounting his attention grabbing headlines by saying he and Kim Jong Un “fell in Love” (his words), North Korea are still testing missiles and advancing their nuclear program. As are Iran, since pulling out the nuclear deal. Not a word about Kushner’s peace plan for Israel. Erdogan does as he pleases. Trump abandoned the Kurds. The “defeated” ISIS are making gains in Syria now that troops are being withdrawn. He’s two years into a trade war with China and there is no agreement to phase one of a trade deal. Meanwhile, economic damage is mounting.

What exactly are these successes then?

  18. @The Little I know
    As for Trumps campaign promises:

I will build a wall across the Mexican border. (nope)
I will overturn Obamacare on day 1 of my presidency. (nope)
I will provide a health insurance plan that covers everybody. (nope)
I will provide Americans with “great health care at a fraction of the cost” of Obamacare. (nope)
I will make sure no one in America loses health insurance coverage. (nope)
I will allow individuals to deduct health insurance payments from their taxes. (nope)
I will grow the nation’s economy by at least 6 percent a year. (nope)
I will create at least 25 million jobs. (nope)
I will raise the federal minimum wage to $10 per hour. (nope)
I will reduce the $18 trillion national debt. (nope)
I will balance the federal budget ‘fairly quickly’. (nope)
I will put a 35% tax on cars imported from Mexican auto plants. (nope)
I will put a 45% tariff on all Chinese imports. (nope)
I will get Mexico and Canada to agree to a new trade pact. (nope)
I will push for a constitutional amendment to impose term limits on all members of Congress. (nope)
I will introduce a ban on federal employees lobbying the government for five years. (nope)
I will ban members of Congress lobbying for five years. (nope)
I will bring campaign finance reform limiting what foreign companies can raise for American political candidates. (nope)
I will deport 11 million immigrants illegally living in the United States. (nope)
I will ban all Muslims from entering the US. (nope)
I will end ‘birthright citizenship’. (nope)
I will deport more illegals than Obama ever did. (nope)
I will cancel all funding for sanctuary cities. (nope)
I will send in the feds to “fix the horrible carnage going on” in Chicago. (nope)
I will appoint Jared Kushner to work to bring an end to the opioid crisis. (nope)
I will negotiate a nuclear free Korean peninsula. (nope)
I will negotiate a new Mideast peace plan. (nope)
I will prevent Huewei from doing business in the United States. (nope)
I will stop Iran from enriching uranium. (nope)
I will label China a currency manipulator. (nope)
I will order the Justice Dept to reopen the investigation of Hillary Clinton. (nope)
I will bring back waterboarding. (nope)
I will establish a commission on radical Islam. (nope)
I will lower drug costs by making drug companies list prices in ads. (nope)
I will lower drug costs by cracking down on drug rebates. (nope)
I will repeal the alternative minimum tax. (nope)
I will release my tax returns as soon as the audit is finished. (nope)
I will “be so presidential, you’re going to be bored.” (nope)
I will get rid of the rigged system that rewards the wealthy and well-connected at the expense of the common man. (NOPE)

Don’t blame this on the Democrats. During the 115th Congress, both houses were controlled by the Republicans.

As for the National debt. It isn’t set to “go lower”. The federal budgets deficit is set to increase by 19% conpared to last year. That is, to spend over $1 trillion more than collected in tax receipts
    https://www.usdebtclock.org/

I’ve no idea what you mean by Trump being a “difficult boss”. Somehow I think you mean to say it’s a good thing.

Don’t forget it was Trump that tweeted:
3 Chief of Staffs in less than 3 years of being President: Part of the reason why @BarackObama can’t manage to pass his agenda.

  19. @Quayboardwarrior.
I am no trump fan, i just have a question about your point that the richer are doing better but more people are uninsured. You seem to take that as an indication that people are worse off then under obamas policy.
    But thats untrue.
Take myself for example, who doesnt have insurance now that i wont be fined for not having it. Or my sisters family, and presumably a very many people who arent interested.
Now, you say the rich get richer, but the poor are worse off now. In what way are they worse off? WHY DOES ONE MANS SUCCESS TAKE AWAY FROM ANOTHERS? IT DOESNT. This whole income inequality thing is pure jealousy. Show me 1 thats right just 1 credible example of someone who earned money but it was instead given to a “wealthy” person!
remember “income inequality” is code for “i dont earn enough, and am not willing to hustle, so i will just take your stuff”. Oh, and before you get on that bandwagon, i’m a democrat who did not vote for trump and believe in welfare programs.
They just have to be contingent on sensible policies.

  20. This is not a “bombshell”, it’s garbage . David Steinberg and Scott Johnson are the two biggest experts on Omar in the world, other than Omar herself, and they dismiss this.

Reiven, her citizenship CANNOT be revoked no matter what she may have done. Nobody is even questioning the validity of her naturalization, so she’s a citizen, and US citizenship, once legitimately obtained, cannot ever be lost involuntarily.

  21. Fat36, she did NOT come to the USA illegally. Where are you finding such nonsense? She was 12 years old when she came here; what laws could she possibly have broken? And what makes you think no action is being taken against her for her campaign finance violation?
