President Trump has pardoned his former national security adviser Michael Flynn, bringing to end a tumultuous four-year criminal case that felled the three-star general before prosecutors reversed course and declared they had improperly pursued his case.

A trump tweet said: “It is my Great Honor to announce that General Michael T. Flynn has been granted a Full Pardon. Congratulations to @GenFlynn and his wonderful family, I know you will now have a truly fantastic Thanksgiving!”

  1. About time. General Flynn was a political prisoner who was unjustly framed up and persecute by criminal Obama/Biden/Clinton gang.

  2. @Reb Eliezer: Can you please detail what Lynn’s lie was? In doing so, please refer to the now declassified fbi notes (as well as the trial record) and show what exactly his crime was.

Also, please take two facts into account.

Fact #1: Among the declassified fbi notes is the following: is the goal “to get him to lie, so we can prosecute him or get him fired”. That is quite a goal for a supposedly informal meeting with two fbi agents with the national security advisor. Why would the fbi agent even think to ask that question — namely, that the goal of the meeting was to set up Flynn either for prosecution or to get fired?

Fact #2: Some 95% of federal prosecutions end in plea-bargains. There are many reasons, but one is the lopsided nature of the deal. Prosecutors have a lot more resources then the defendent and the defendent has a lot more to lose by going to trial. Think of the following option — you can please guilty and get a one or two year probation (or even stint in jail) or you can go to trial and risk 10, 20, 30 or more years in jail. Or how about this offer — you can please guilty to a reduced sentence or else we will also indict your wife or children.

There are MANY documented cases of innocent people choosing the plea bargain simply because the risks are too high.

Seems to me your posting “lying”. Clinton was charged with perjury, which is quite different than “lying”.

Also seems strange to compare lying to Congress under oath – which is perjury – to an alleged friendly impromptu conversation (which is how the FBI agents described the meeting to Flynn) while Flynn and the entire new administration (including Flynn) were distracted getting their feet wet in their new roles and Flynn spoke in vernacular terms (unlike Clinton, Flynn was not a lawyer speaking in legal terms).

  4. Reb Eliezer, before posting embarrassing and ignorant comments do yourself a favor and educate yourself on the subject. Based on recently released and declassified FBI documents and closed doors Congregational testimonies General Flynn gave truthful testimony and was illegally framed. The real liars in this case were dirty FBI a Obama administration.
