Ramapo police tell the Journal News that an electrical malfunction (electrical short) ignited the fire on February 13, that destroyed a lunchroom and auditorium the Adolph Schreiber Hebrew Academy at 70 Highview Ave [reported HERE on YWN].

Boruch Hashem, there was no one was in the building at the time of the fire – and Monsey firefighters rescued six Sifrei Torah.

AS YWN had reported (HERE), the school was temporarily using a local public school – the Lime Kiln Elementary School – as their home.
