Trump Slams FBI’s Clinton Email Investigation

President Donald Trump is again criticizing the FBI’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s emails and he’s suggesting that “at some point” he “may have to get involved!”

Trump is asserting, without providing evidence, that the FBI failed to thoroughly review Clinton’s emails as part of its investigation into her use of a private email server while she served as secretary of state.

The president also tweets more criticism of Attorney General Jeff Sessions, writing that Sessions “doesn’t understand what is happening underneath his command position.”

Trump is accusing special counsel Robert Mueller of “having a field day as real corruption goes untouched.”

The tweets cap a difficult week for Trump in which his former lawyer, Michael Cohen, said the president directed him to arrange hush money payments to two women before the election.

  1. Yeh and what about the investigation of the JFK, Lincoln and Garfield assassinations?? And while you’re saving coal, why not bring back telephone booths, vhs and smoke signals?

  2. To all these nay-sayers, I ask just how were these thousands of deleted e-mails reviewed by the FBI when, it seems to me, something that is not there cannot be reviewed. Oh – now I remember – they took Clinton’s word for the contents. If only all investigations could be so thorough.

  3. Is this guy for real? Hasn’t he realized that he won the election already? Or is he still sensitive that he got in on a technicality, not the majority of the popular vote? Why is he still obsessed with Clinton? Or is he just trying to change the subject from Mueller/Manafort/Cohen?

I’m afraid the Republican Party is going to end up with a terminal case of buyer’s remorse. There’s no one left of McCain’s stature able to lead a rebirth of the party.
