  1. I was there on buchrim shlichus (lubavitch) for one year in the mid 90s. Reb Shmulik puts to use his very suave yet warm personality to influence his status.. and get chummy with all people of power .. I consider him successful (has benefitted the local Jews there ) …..a good politician!

  2. and he tries to lower the prices of matzot, even here in the us: the ukranian shmura matzah is under his hashgacha! $8.99 a pound last nite!

  3. Isn’t it strange that shmura matzoh which is imported could be cheaper than that which does not have to be shipped? Onaah? Worth an investigation

  4. By the way,… ref. to the Ukrainian shmurah Matzah, it does not taste as good … I was trying to figure out why..? ?.. Being that I once spent some time there-it dawned on me.. .. the water there does not taste that great .. It’s not as sweet as the US.. Hence bad tasting matzos.. YOU GET WHT YOU PAY FOR.

  5. comment 2: why would complain about lowering the price of motzah? People are always crying about the high price. (?)
