Anthony Weiner Polling Again For Mayor

wein2As speculation about a political comeback ramps up, former Rep. Anthony Weiner is said to be again polling voters’ reactions to a potential 2013 mayoral campaign.

A Bronx political operative, Robert Guiffre, told The Insider that he had received a live call Tuesday from a polling firm gauging his response to Mr. Weiner’s potential candidacy. According to Mr. Guiffre, the caller first asked his opinion of Mr. Weiner, and presented choices ranging from “very favorable” to “very unfavorable.” The same question was then asked about Mr. Weiner’s potential rivals in the Democratic primary for mayor: Council Speaker Christine Quinn, Comptroller John Liu, Public Advocate Bill de Blasio, and ex-Comptroller Bill Thompson.

  1. What a waste of money, but he has a lot of campaign money that has to be spent. He has absolutly no chance since he has proven he has very poor judgement.

  2. Arrogance is the only way to describe Weiner’s position. In addition to his excesses( do we want him as a role model for our children?) as a Congressman ,he did not represent the views of his constituents but rather his own radical views and those of Nancy Pelosi.Recall he wanted to accord to terrorists constitutional rights; have them tried in Civil courts and not military tibunals; have the 9/11 terrorists tried in the Federal Court in Manhatan . Moreover he was the poster boy for Obamacare although he was happy keeping his own insurance.
