A pedestrian was struck and killed by a vehicle in Queens on Motzei Shabbos.
It happened just after 9:00PM on Jewel Avenue and 140 Street.
Queens Hatzolah Paramedics found the 75-year-old man in traumatic arrest and did everything they could to save his life.
He was rushed to Booth hospital where he was R”L Niftar.
Misaskim and Chesed Shel Emes Volunteers were on the scene to ensure proper Kavod HaNiftar.
A name will be released pending proper family notifications.
The NYPD is on the scene and will be conducting a prolonged investigation. Expect street closures for hours.
