Shortline Buses Come to A Stop, as Strike Begins


ShortLine.gifShortline/Coach USA bus drivers, mechanics and ticket agents will go on strike at 12:01 a.m. Friday morning bringing most of the company’s service to a halt. Members of Local 225 rejected a contract off Thursday.

The OWL will run between Middletown, Goshen, Chester, Monroe and Central Valley to White Plains. The Main Line Service in Orange County will operate as will the TZ Express and TOR service in Rockland County. Woodbury Common Outlets service will operate.

Commuter options for those going to New York City include Metro-North Hudson Line in Beacon or the Metro-North Port Jervis Line with a number of stations in Orange County.
