Trump is factually correct for the most part. I think he shouldnโt have said it because itโs not his place to decide who is a Jew and who isnโt. But that is my criticism of the messenger, not the message.

I would say they are at minimum a self hating Jew…but not necessarily stupid…
MosheR53, it wouldnโt be factually correct either if Trump said they werenโt Jewish. My point is that he shouldnโt opine on what defines Jewish interest.
If he (or any non-Jew) wants to support Jews, he definitely can do so. I think itโs not his place to define what Jews want, though. Not a monolith, but more diverse than some would acknowledge.
