  1. It’s beyond comical. Some wacko drives his car into the front doors of 770 and causes minimal damage and before you know it you have the city mayor, police commissioner and the attorney general all show up on a rush just to tell us what everyone knows already.. but I guess if they didn’t show up they’d be condemned for not being there for the community and all the rest….

  2. Mayor Mamdani is correct. Islamophobia has no place in our great city. It can never be tolerated or accepted in this City.

  3. What do we learn from this.
A person wants to grow in Torah. He must keep banging away until the doors come down. You don’t give up. Even if a thousand people think negative about you never give up. Keep steiging Keep learning. Keep davening and the doors of Heaven will open up.

  4. This is what YWN wrote on December 14

“Zohhran Mamdani has been chanting “Globalize the Intifada” for years. He called the Muslim terrorists “men with long guns”.

A despicable statement from a **despicable antisemite**, embraced by the Satmar community.”

YWN clearly labeled Mamdani a “despicable antisemite”.

Yet, last night, this “despicable antisemite” shows up (not to get votes, he’s already sworn in !!) and says:

“Any threat to a Jewish institution or place of worship must be taken seriously. Antisemitism has no place in our city, and violence or intimidation against Jewish New Yorkers is unacceptable.

“I stand in solidarity with the Crown Heights Jewish community”

    Will YWN apologize?!?!?!?!

  6. On the same day this mayor has directed NYPD to shrink its size and to discontinue the special services dept. that would handle this type of incident.

  7. Even though the horrifying despicable attack occurred on יצא שבט after the יארצייט of the Friderik Rebbe זצקללה”ה, the mayor was still factually correct to refer to it being the יארצייט since 76 years ago [4*19] it indeed was also January 28th, & when the heinous atrocious attack occurred, it still was January 28th
