Anti-Trump Rallies To Be Held As Part Of ‘Not My Presidents Day’ Demonstration

1More protests are planned against President Donald Trump Monday, as anti-Trump activists seized on the federal holiday to organize “Not My Presidents Day” rallies in cities around the country.

Demonstrations were held in cities around the U.S. this weekend to support Muslim Americans and to protest Trump’s immigration policies.

Protest leaders say they expect thousands to take to the streets Monday in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, and as many as two dozen other communities in the latest round of demonstrations to oppose the policies of President Trump.

Thousands of protesters are expected to gather at noon outside the Trump International Hotel at Columbus Circle, and the crowd will stretch north on Central Park West.

It is being called a peaceful protest to oppose the policies of President Trump.

More than a thousand people of various faiths rallied in New York City on Sunday.

The “I Am A Muslim Too” event was held in Times Square and was organized by several groups, including the Foundation for Ethnic Understanding.

Some protesters waved American flags, while others held signs saying “No Muslim Ban.”

Democratic Mayor Bill de Blasio spoke at the peaceful rally, saying “we have to dispel the stereotypes” and that America is “a country founded to protect all faiths and all beliefs.”

Trump has initiated a crackdown on illegal immigration. He also has called for a temporary ban on people entering the U.S. from seven Muslim-majority countries.

  1. “Not my president” because President Trump is against continuing Obama’s tradition of funding the murdering of healthy babies and President Trump is against Obama’s legacy of legalizing lawlessness and against Obama’s merciful support of ISIS in the US. This should tell you clearly who the protester are.
