Lakewood Police are asking for the public’s help in their search for an 82-year-old man, who has been missing since he walked away from Congregation Sons Of Israel on Shabbos morning. Robert Luben,�resides at the Crystal Lake Healthcare and Rehab Center in Bayville. Around 10:00AM on Shabbos morning, Luben was brought to the Shul on the corner Sixth Street and Madison Avenue – but shortly after Davening started, Luben left, and he was reported missing around noon.
Robert Luben is�wears glasses,�is about 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a green sweatshirt and a tan jacket, and he may also be wearing a yarmulke. He walks slowly and slightly hunched forward.

lakewood police actaully had a recorded message calling homes with a message stating all this & asking people to help…
its the first time i”ve seen them get so involved.

I asked the same question, where was his aide? We can only pray for his speedy, helthily return.
this dos not sound good lakewood is not a city like bp you can’t just get lost in the street for 48hr.
Is that why there were helecopters flying overhead on Shabbos afternoon?
I always see elderly ppl coming out of that Shul on Shabbos. If only I would’ve known, would’ve paid more attention. Oy, hope they find him safe and sound.
