Security Officials: New Iranian Anti-Tank Rocket May Reach Gaza

In addition to concerns surrounding Iran’s continuing nuclear enrichment program, security establishment officials in Israel are also monitoring the new Iranian anti-tank rocket, which Tehran boasts has a striking distance of 1,000 meters and the capability of penetrating 300mm of armor-plating. Should such rocket make their way to Hamas-controlled Gaza, the current realities vis-à-vis IDF tanks and APCs (armored personnel carrier) and terrorist forces would be changed significantly.

Iranian Defense Minister Ahmad Vahidi announced production of the new rockets is underway, and Israel fears they will be delivered to Hizbullah in southern Lebanon, and from there, make their way to Gaza via the vast smuggling tunnels network.

Israel sustained heavy losses during the Second Lebanon War as a result of anti-tank rockets, realizing should these new weapons make it to Gaza, it will present yet additional challenges for security troops in the next confrontation in that area.

  1. Hishtadlus: Elect a yirai shamayim (as opposed to a ‘yirai Washington’) as Prime Minister, who will order MASSIVE, decisive, pre-emptive strikes in Lebanon and Gaza.

Bitachon: We have to be a bit like Nachshon, i.e. we have to SHOW HaSH-m our emunah by taking the first step (see above), THEN He will certainly grant us great yishuos and niflaos.
