Terror alerts pertaining to Thailand have resulted in stepped-up security for the Chabad house in Bangkok and for the shaliach, Rabbi Nechemia Wilhelm.
Following the terror alert released by Israel’s National Security Council Counter-Terrorism Bureau, Thai police met with the Chabad shaliach and mapped out plans for increased security.
According to a ChabadInfo report, the terror threat did nothing to keep away Shabbos guests and some 300 guests were on hand this past Shabbos, as is usually the case in Bangkok Chabad House.
The report concludes that the Chabad house regularly has Israeli and local security so little changed in light of the terror alert.
