Eida Distances Itself [Again] From Neturei Karta Fanatics

Rabbonim of the Badatz Eida Chareidis are fuming over the recent meeting in Lebanon between Neturei Karta members and senior leaders of Hizbullah. They are also angered over their participation in the anti-Israel Global March on Jerusalem in Jordan on erev Shabbos HaGadol.

Kikar Shabbat quotes “senior Eida officials” anonymously as stating “Our problem is that the media views them as members of the Eida Chareidis. Members of the badatz have come out publically against them and their actions. How can one say they are one of us?”

“Yes, we are opposed to the path chosen by the Zionists but to go from there to meet with terrorists who murder children? Who permits such an act? This is not our way and not the path of the Torah! They attend these insane meetings in chareidi garb and the media identifies them as belonging to the Eida”.

“It is also important to point out that many members of Neturei Karta are opposed to their actions as well”.

The Eida over recent months has released an official letter distancing the community from the actions of these fanatics.

  1. Yeah, everyone knows the fake so-called NK that meets the Arabs don’t represent the Eida or anyone. Its only the ant-Chareidi blog commenters and boneheads that try to make an association.

  2. Even R’ Amram Blau would look at today’s NK, ymach shemam veyovad zichrum, and put them in cheirem.

But unlike many here who believe that they are chayuv missa for being rodfim, i believe that they are in no way jewish and therefore toras rodef does not even apply to them. They are like nazis and al quaida for whom i rejoice in their demise. Bezras Hashem, someone grabs Hirsch, yimach shemo, by his beard and dumps into the ocean like bin laden.

  3. Lip service.

They won’t issue a Cherem against them.

The only way to deal with them is to cut off their money source (if possible) and totally distance them from any aspect of Jewish life.

That means identifying and publicizing who they are and then walking out of any minyan, any simcha, where they are present.

That means not eating in restaraunts where they eat, not buying any food from supermakets where they frequent. Hit the owners of these establishments in the pocketbook and watch the backlash against these jokers.

If the Rabbis had any guts, they would do these measures.

  4. Much as I agree that the NK are wrong, they are not Nazi’s. No one is, not even murderous evil Arabs are Nazi’s. Nazi’s humiliated tortured exterminated and burnt my grandparents and probably yours also.
No one is on their evil level.
Saying so, deminishes the Nazi’s evil.

  5. These ‘misfits’ are causing danger and anger towards the Jewish nation and for that reason alone they need a strong reprimand and excommunication.
