Jerusalem Administrative Court Justice Sharon Lari Bavli on Sunday morning, 7 Iyar 5772 ruled to freeze the demolition order against a portion of the Toldos Avraham Yitzchak Beis Medrash in Meah Shearim. As reported last week by YWN-ISRAEL, the demolition was set for this week.
The court awaits City Hall�s response while Toldos Avraham Yitzchak feels the demolition order is illegal and should be totally invalidated. The city has a week to respond and/or file an appeal. For the time being, the demolition order has been placed on hold.

Very surprising that the courts would care about anything enough as to put this demolition on hold!
They’re probably affraid of the riots that would break out in the chassidish community if they carry out the demolition. I’m also affraid.
i don’t think people should be commenting on this subject if they don’t even know the facts of the story. Think before you post!
