A male was found unconscious in a Sanz mikve today, Sunday morning 7 Iyar 5772. Resuscitation was attempted, but medics were unsuccessful and the male was pronounced dead on the scene.
The victim was Rav Shraga Fivel Sar z”l, 64, principal of the Sanz girl’s high school and the Beis Chana Sanz Seminar in Kiryas Sanz. The niftar is a well known chossid in the community, one who maintained a close relationship with the Rebbe Shlita.
The levaya began at the main beis medrash of Sanz in Netanya at 11:00am and kvura was in the Shikun Vatikim Cemetery.

Whats going on? This is the third or fourth cases of someone found nifta in a mikvah over the past year or so? Is there not someone always monitoring what is going on to respond to an emergency?
