Chief Rabbi of Israel Dovid Lau Shlita spoke with Health Minister Yaakov Litzman on Sunday morning 8 Kislev to congratulate him on his decision to resign from the cabinet over Chilul Shabbos, adding his actions, which follow instruction from his rabbonim, are a Kiddush Hashem.
The chief rabbi explained how Shabbos is the �Yom Menucha and Kedusha� but unfortunately, the latter, �Kedusha� has been forgotten by too many.
When asked to comment on Litzman�s actions, both Moshe Gafne and Aryeh Deri declined.
