Haifa City Hall Apologizes To Bnei Akiva For Shabbos Incident

Following the embarrassing event of this past Friday night, when a Haifa municipal inspector shut down kabolas Shabbos because neighbors complained, Haifa City Hall has apologized officially to Bnei Akiva.

As reported by YWN-ISRAEL, the organizers of the Bnei Akiva kabolas Shabbos told the inspector that it was absurd, that someone complained about their noise level at 5:00pm. The inspector however was unwilling to hear anything the worshippers had to say, threatening them with arrest if they did not stop the singing (Davening), he would begin making arrests. Hence, they abided and broke up the davening.
