Two anti-Semitic attacks were reported in France last week the daily HaMevaser reports. The first incident occurred on Friday morning 8 Teves 5773. Mispallalim arrived at the shul and saw flames coming from the entrance as a vehicle sped off. Baruch Hashem they succeeded in extinguishing the flames before they spread. Police were summoned but they have yet to make an arrest. The mora d�asra of the shul, Rabbi Schneur Lubchik told French media �it was a miracle.� The rav added that he and his congregants will not be intimidated and they will continue holding minyanim regularly.
The second incident occurred on Thursday when a Jewish male was attacked, beaten and stabbed in Paris. The victim told authorities that his attackers were shouting anti-Semitic slurs as they assaulted him. Baruch Hashem the victim�s injuries were described as light. He was treated and released from a local hospital. Once again, police have not made arrests in the case.
