Rav Gutnick Visits Gush Katif Museum

Rav Yosef Yitzchak HaKohen Gutnick, Chabad shaliach for matters pertaining to Eretz Yisrael, made a visit to the Gush Katif Museum in Yerushalayim. Gutnick wished to make a point, that all areas of Eretz HaKodesh belong to Am Yisrael and in line with the position of the late Rebbe ZT”L ZY”A, there can be no compromise regarding areas of the holy land.

Gutnick added it is critical for the tzibur at large to understand that Gush Katif and the communities that were uprooted may never be forgotten.

The museum’s director thanked the rav for his years of assistance and commitment to all the communities throughout Yehuda and Shomron, as well as the former Gaza, stating Am Yisrael will also be in debt to him for his mesirus nefesh towards actualizing a Greater Eretz Yisrael.

  1. shleimus haaretz in hebrew is mistakenly translated as settlement security of west bank or wtvr peice of land not being given to the palestinians…

the word shleimus haaretz.. is a different meaning
and everyone makes a big mistake

  2. Great museum to visit and learn about. Should be recommended to all to see, it is located close to the Central Bus Station in Yerushalayim.

  3. Correction: The Rebbe was vehemently opposed to any land concessions, whether they be in or outside of Eretz Yisroel. Case in point: the Sinai Peninsula. The fundamental concern is one of pikuach nefesh.
