A Winter Storm Warning in effect from 3 PM Friday to 6 AM on Saturday, the National Weather Service says. Lakewood could see snow accumulations of 4 to 8 inches, the warning said.

Snow Friday morning will change to rain during the daylight hours, and then back to heavy snow late in the day Friday or Friday evening.

One to two inch per hour accumulations are possible for a couple of hours Friday night, the Service said.

JCPL says customers are encouraged to plan ahead for the possibility of storm-related power outages.
