Another Shalit Deal Terrorist Back in Custody

papWhat is most surprising is the fact that so many Israelis express shock upon learning a growing number of terrorists released in the Gilad Shalit prisoner exchange deal are being re-arrested for doing what they are best at, planning and perpetrating acts of terror. Some of the ‘peace process’ hopefuls are shocked to learn that despite the fact the terrorists signed a statement committing to distance themselves from terrorism following their release, they have violated that pledge and are back at work.

A 25-year-old Shechem resident released in the Shalit deal is among those back in jail. The ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet) announced that he was taken into custody a month ago after they learned he was planning another terror attack. It is reported that he visited Mecca, where he was approached by another terrorist, who paid him $60,000 to carry out shooting attacks against Israeli motorists in Shomron, near Shechem. He was also asked to carry out attacks involving hurling grenades at IDF positions in the same area. A number of other suspects have been arrested in this case as well.
