A ten-year-old Palestinian boy on Sunday, 24 Sivan 5773, received new life thanks to a kidney transplant. The operation was carried out at the Schneider Children’s Hospital on a boy who suffered from renal disease, was undergoing dialysis and had been waiting for a kidney transplant. The boy is recovery in the ICU; he is in stable condition.
The transplant operation was carried out by a Schneider team headed by Prof. Eitan Mor and which included: Dr. Sigal Eisner, Dr Omer Gogia and anesthesiologist Dr. Meshulam Behar. After the surgery, the child was moved to the ICU headed by Dr. Tommy Schonfeld; nephrologist Dr. Miriam Davidovits is among the attending ICU doctors. The transplant itself was coordinated by recipient’s coordinator nurse Rachel Beregin.
The father of the boy said that he had no words to thank the Jewish donor’s family and noted that, after many years waiting for a transplant, his son was receiving new life.

#1. Good question, like the Arab women, whose life was saved in an Israeli hospital and in the follow-up visit wore a suicide belt. That’s the Arab thank you.

I will remind you that we save half Hallel on the latter part of Pesach because of the death of the Mitzriyim (our enemies). I agree that we wont get a decent thank you from the Palestinians but that does not stop us doing the right thing or allow us to make such racist comments.
No. 2, the crudity of your remark aside, the Israeli health system is famous from top to bottom as being off-limits (something like a makom patur) to the conflict. Medical ethics aside, many Jews probably owe their lives to it.

I guess it’s ok for Jewish doctors and hospitals to treat everyone, Jew and arab alike. But it galls me that there is a Jewish donor! How could someone donate a kidney to an Arab?! They’re all murderers.
#4, it’s one thing to say half hallel on yomtov. It’s another to give an arab murderer a JEWISH kidney! Yes, the doctors should treat them, but at least give them an arab kidney!
