Motzei Shabbos News Round-Up From Israel

Gedalia then captured the snake on a nearby street and brought it to the mobile intensive care ambulance to be brought to the hospital so that the doctors could replicate an antidote. After Shabbat, Gedalia told BChadrei Charedim that Halacha permits the capturing of a snake that has bitten someone even on Shabbat in order to allow the doctors to administer the appropriate remedy.

Israeli windsurfer Katy Spychakov, 20, won the silver medal on Saturday at the RS:X World Championships at Lake Garda in Italy. Her victory is the first time an Israeli won a medal in the sport in the global competition since 2014.
