Preferring not to put the embarrassing event in which he was ousted from a Security Cabinet meeting because of Finance Minister Yair Lapid, Minister of Intelligence Dr. Yuval Steinitz spoke of that �unnecessary and shameful� event on motzei Shabbos in an appearance on Channel 2�s Meet the Press.

Steinitz, a veteran cabinet minister, told Channel 2 �It is sad how Lapid acts as he is a minister for a three months yet he is haughty and acting as he does, now a member of the Kodesh Kedoshim, the Security Cabinet.� There are some who think they have nothing to learn, like a man who believes he can earn a doctorate without first completing a BA or MA.� (He was referring to Lapid, who was caught lying about his alleged higher education).

Steinitz did not let Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu off the hook, stating �with all due respect, he did not act properly. He could have acted differently in this case.�
